Cling film, foil, bin bags and laundry detergent are the things that run out at the worst moment. This pack puts a plastic-free swap for each of them in one box, so a plastic-light kitchen and laundry cupboard takes one order rather than four.
What is in the pack:
- 1 x Aluminium Foil, 10m. Dimensions: 30cm x 10m
- 1 x Compostable Cling Film, 30m. Dimensions: 30cm x 30m
- 2 x Compostable Bin Bags, 60 litre (10 bags per pack, 20 bags in total). Dimensions: 62cm around x 51cm long
- 1 x Laundry Detergent Sheets, 60 sheets. Dimensions: sheet size 11cm x 7cm
Why a bundle: The brand describes this as one of its subscription packs, offering a reduction on the RRP of buying each item separately. The listing also says delivery is free on orders over £25. The packs arrive in recycled and recyclable boxes, according to the seller.
The Eco Green Living angle: Eco Green Living says its range is designed to be plastic-free, compostable or made from recycled materials, with each item acting as a direct replacement for a less sustainable alternative. The brand also states that it plants a tree for each order made.
The brand's own reasoning is that natural eco-products often cost more than standard supermarket versions, and that hunting them down takes time. Bundling four of them into one pack is its answer to both problems. Every choice adds up, and this one removes a few shopping trips from the equation.
The sheets are 11cm x 7cm each and there are 60 in the pack. The bin bags are sold as two packs of 10, sized for a 60-litre bin.
