Certifications:
Cling film is one of those kitchen habits that is hard to break because the alternatives rarely behave the same way. This one does. It clings, stretches and seals like conventional wrap, but it is made from PBAT and PLA, so it is designed to break down in home or industrial composting rather than persisting in landfill.
What you get:
- One 30m roll, 30cm wide, perforated for easy tearing
- Cardboard dispenser with a built-in cutting blade
- Dispenser described by the brand as recyclable
- Fridge and freezer safe
Why the compostable claim matters: "Compostable" is a word that gets used loosely, so here is what is stated for this product. It is certified to EN13432, ASTM D6400, Australian AS4736 (industrial) and NF T51-800 (home). The home standard is the useful one for most households: it is the one that tells you the film is meant to break down in a home compost bin, not only in an industrial facility.
Also stated: Vegetarian Society Vegan Accreditation.

Who it suits: Anyone working towards a plastic-free kitchen who still wants wrap that covers a bowl, a half-cut cucumber or a freezer portion without a fight. It is a like-for-like replacement, so there is no new routine to learn. Every choice adds up, and this one sits in the drawer you already use most.
The brand has not supplied composting timeframes, so we have not quoted any. Check your own compost setup before relying on it.
