These are the bowls that make a table feel considered without trying too hard. Habulous makes every piece by hand in Great Britain, from shaping the clay to applying the cornflower blue glaze — and because the process is genuinely handmade rather than hand-finished, each bowl comes out slightly different. The line designs are random, the shapes are organic, and that variation is the whole idea.
The raw, flecked clay exterior contrasts with the glazed interior in a way that reads as both rustic and refined. They work as condiment dishes, nibble bowls, jewellery and key catchers, or simply as objects worth looking at. Add one of Habulous's little handmade spoons and a mini bowl becomes a salt or pepper pot. The three sizes stack neatly for storage and mix well together on the table.
