These beautiful JUST stoneware plates offer a contemporary design with subtly raised edges, perfect for keeping gravies and sauces neatly on the plate. Their durable construction combines strong, clean lines with a slender shape, ideal for setting a beautiful table.
Style them with other pieces from the collection, or complement them with natural table linen, placemats, and flowers for a standout look. Alternatively, keep it simple for a minimal feel that focuses attention squarely on the food itself.
Every plate is handcrafted on a wheel using traditional pottery methods, a craft practised for years in the Thimi area of Nepal. Thimi is one of Nepal's oldest and most important pottery-making villages, home to over 100 potters who have kept this craft alive for centuries, passing it from one generation to the next. Traditionally, this occupation has been carried out by members of the Newar Kumale caste, bearing the surname Prajapati.
