Those wobbly letters and backwards Rs do not last long. This mug keeps them, and it is sturdy enough to use every morning.
Habulous recreates your child's handwriting by hand, as an outline drawing on a soft white glaze. Wonky, uneven and back-to-front writing is recreated as written, because those quirks are the point. Pick a name like Mummy, Grandad or their own signature.
Why it works as a gift:
- Made to order, so no two are the same
- Good for Father's Day, grandparents or a keepsake for Mum
- Sturdy stoneware, meant to be used rather than kept on a shelf
How personalisation works: Upload a photo of your child's handwriting and Habulous recreates it by hand onto the mug. Send a clear, in-focus photo taken in good natural light, because the quality of the drawing reflects the quality of the image.
- Choose between up to 10 characters or up to 20 characters (maximum 20)
- Best suited to bold, simple lettering
- Handwriting is recreated as an outline illustration only
- Colour is not available because of the hand-drawn technique
- Your handwriting is scaled to fit the mug
- As each piece is handmade and hand drawn, yours may differ slightly from the images
The basics:
- Handmade stoneware, soft white glaze
- Volume: 400ml
- Microwave and dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended for handmade items
- Sold individually
Lead time: Habulous aims to create, finish and dispatch within 7 days. It may occasionally take a little longer if the kiln does not cooperate.
FAQ: Q: Does the handwriting stay true to the original? A: We carefully recreate the unique details and character of your child's handwriting to preserve all those lovely little imperfections that make it so special. Please send a clear, in-focus photo taken in good natural light. The quality of our hand-drawn result reflects the quality of the image you provide.
Q: Can you recreate messy or imperfect handwriting? A: Yes, the wonky letters, backwards writing and uneven little lines are often the parts that make the piece feel the most meaningful and personal.
Q: Is this mug designed to be used or displayed? A: Both. While it makes a beautiful keepsake, it's also designed to be part of everyday life. A comforting mug for morning coffees, slow teas and the little rituals that make memories feel close.
