Habulous makes ceramics in small batches in Great Britain, and each jellyfish is handmade in the studio. The shell is made from fleck clay. The wool is hand-dyed, which gives varied tones that sit against the ceramic glaze.

Hanging it: The jellyfish are lightweight and easy to hang. The maker has found that clear fishing gut with Command hooks works well (the fairy light hooks are a particular favourite). The clear line makes the jellyfish look as if they are floating, and lets you hang them at different heights for a layered effect, as in the product photos.
Where it works: Hang one in a window, or on a wall. Or put it in a cosy corner that could use some colour and movement. Group several in different colours for a small shoal. The five shades are chosen to go together, so mixing them is easy.
Please note: Because each jellyfish is handmade with fleck clay, yours may differ slightly from the images. The wool is hand-dyed and may vary subtly in colour. That variation is part of what handmade means here.
