Each piece is wheel-thrown in the Habulous Dartmoor studio using flecked stoneware clay, then finished with a satin white glaze before the distinctive blue stripes are painted by hand.
The flecked clay subtly shows through the satin white glaze, adding depth and texture beneath every brushstroke. Because the blue stripes are painted freehand, each vase naturally varies, making yours truly one-of-a-kind. With a generous 800ml capacity, it's ideal for fuller arrangements and taller stems, looking equally at home on a dining table, mantelpiece, or windowsill.
Every vase is made in small batches using traditional pottery techniques, ensuring that the individual details of the clay, glaze, and brushwork remain visible, celebrating the beauty of handmade pottery.
