There is something genuinely cheerful about a tiny beetroot with a face sitting on your windowsill. Habulous makes these in their Dartmoor studio, one at a time, from stoneware clay — which means the slight variations in expression and glaze are not imperfections, they are the whole idea. Each one arrives with a Tillandsia air plant already nestled inside, ready to go.
Stoneware is a durable, dense clay body that holds its shape and finish well over time, making it a better long-term home for a plant than the lighter earthenware alternatives you will find at most gift shops. The character is hand-formed, so the smile on yours will be its own.

How to care for your air plant: Carefully remove the air plant from the holder and mist with water 1–2 times weekly. Soak for 1 hour monthly. Ensure the air plant is thoroughly dry before returning it to the holder to prevent rot.
