Habulous makes these in small batches in Great Britain, throwing each one by hand from British-sourced fleck stoneware and finishing in one of five pastel glazes. The result is a pot that looks considered rather than incidental — the kind of thing you notice, then keep.
The striker pad is built into the base, so lighting a candle or wood burner is a single, unhurried gesture. No rummaging for the box. When the matches run out, the pot refills — Habulous sells both matches and replacement striker pads separately, so nothing goes to waste.
