There are match holders, and then there is this. Habulous makes each of these ceramic bird pots entirely by hand in Great Britain, using British clay — from the beak to the body to the glaze. That means yours will be slightly different from the one in the photograph, and that is exactly the point.
The bird sits on your shelf, mantelpiece, or beside a candle arrangement looking like it belongs there. The matches fan out from the plumage, and the striker pad on the base does the work. When the matches run low, refill them. When the striker pad wears out, replacement pads and matches are available separately.
