There is something quietly lovely about a box of matches on a mantelpiece. This pot makes the everyday ritual of lighting a candle feel considered — and because it carries your initials (or someone else's), it doubles as a gift that actually means something.
Habulous throws each pot by hand on a wheel, using British fleck clay, then glazes it in one of five colours: off-white, mint green, pale pink, cornflower blue, or light yellow. The personalisation — two initials separated by a plus sign, set inside a heart — is applied before firing, so it becomes part of the pot rather than sitting on top of it. No two pieces come out of the kiln identical, which is the point.
