Most dishcloths are made from synthetic microfibre — a form of plastic. Every time you wash one, millions of tiny fibres escape into the water system, too small for treatment plants to catch. They end up in waterways, in marine animals, and eventually on your plate. This knitted organic cotton dishcloth from Wild & Stone does the same job without any of that.
The cotton is 100% organic and the dyes meet Oeko-Tex standard, which covers harmful substance limits in the finished cloth. At 25 x 25 cm with a built-in hanging tag, it is sized for daily kitchen use and designed to dry between washes rather than sitting damp on the side.
Use it for dishes, countertops, or as a small hand towel. Pair it with Wild & Stone's organic cotton hand towels if you want a consistent look across the kitchen. When it eventually reaches the end of its life, cut it into strips and add it to your compost bin — it will biodegrade fully.

Care instructions: Machine washable. Rinse the cloth before putting it in the machine to avoid build-up. Wash on a hot cycle. Dry flat or tumble dry. Do not use fabric softener — it reduces absorbency. If the cloth develops an odour, soak in warm water with a splash of vinegar before washing.
