Microfibre towels shed millions of plastic particles every time they go through the wash. Those particles end up in waterways and oceans, and there is no retrieving them. Wild & Stone's organic cotton hand towels are the straightforward swap: same job, none of the microplastic problem, and when they eventually reach the end of their life you can cut them into strips and compost them.
The cotton is GOTS-certified organic, which means it was grown without harmful pesticides, and the dyes meet OEKO-TEX Standard 100 — independently verified to be free from harmful substances. At 40 x 60 cm with a built-in hanging tag, these are sized and designed for daily use at the sink or in the kitchen. Available in nine colours: Moss Green, Slate Grey, Dove Grey, Rose, Ocean, Berry, Beach Sand, Honey, and Burgundy.
