A note on installation and care: Stoneware is durable but ceramic — it will not flex under impact the way metal or plastic will. Use a manual screwdriver rather than an electric drill when fitting, as excess pressure can cause the ceramic to crack. If fitting to the back of a door, bear in mind that a hard swing open against a wall could break the hook on impact. Treat it with the same care you would any ceramic piece and it will last.
