There is a particular satisfaction in a soap dish that does its job properly. Most do not — soap sits in a puddle, goes soft, and you end up throwing half of it away. This one is built differently.
Habulous makes each piece by hand in Dartmoor, using British clay. The earthy greens and browns of the glaze are a direct nod to the moorland landscape outside the studio — the gorse, the forest, the long walks across varied terrain. The natural clay visible between the two glazes bakes to a warm cream, creating a gentle contrast in texture that makes each piece its own.
