There is a particular satisfaction in a wall hook that does its job and looks good doing it. Habulous makes theirs by hand in a Dartmoor studio, using British fleck clay and a satin glaze that is entirely their own. The result is a hook with a raw, kiln-fired clay back on one side and a smooth, sophisticated glazed face on the other — a contrast that gives each piece its character.
Because every hook is handmade in small batches, no two are identical. The cornflower blue glaze has a depth that mass-produced ceramic or standard metal hooks simply cannot replicate. These work well in a hallway, a bathroom, or on the back of a door — anywhere you want organisation to feel considered rather than improvised.

A note on installation and care: Ceramic is strong but not indestructible. Habulous recommends fitting with a manual screwdriver — avoid using an electric drill, as too much pressure on the ceramic may cause it to crack. Screws are not included.
If the hook is fitted to the back of a door, bear in mind that a hard impact — for example, the door swinging open and the hook striking the wall — may break the ceramic. Choose your placement accordingly.
