Thank you gifts: small gifts, chocolate & ceramic flowers

Choosing thank you gifts

Small thank you gifts mean more when they come with a few words about what the person did. Pick something modest that fits the moment, such as a candle for a neighbour or chocolate for a colleague, and add a handwritten card. Think about what will get used up or enjoyed, rather than another ornament. Habulous, Harfi, Bouclé and The Mood Club make many of the presents here. Every brand here was checked for what goes into its products and how they are made.

Thank you gifts for teachers

End of term is a busy time for teacher gifts, especially before Christmas. A ceramic flower stem from Habulous never wilts, and its plant hugger decorations sit on the rim of a pot on a classroom windowsill. Bouclé makes soy wax candles and botanical bath salts, and Lovewell makes soy wax votive candles. A group of parents can club together for something bigger, such as a candle trio or a tea set. Nursery staff often appreciate something to share, such as a box of chocolate.

Thank you gifts for colleagues and friends

The Mood Club makes You Make Me Feel cards, with messages such as grateful, peaceful and dreamy, and Give Yourself Kindness makes affirmation cards for work and a brass card stand. Harfi makes star sign constellation earrings and birthstone studs, which suit a friend who has helped you through a busy year. SKNFED makes a hand cream and shea butter gift set, and Flawless makes a Little Bit of Luxury gift box. Votch makes a bio-based bamboo key ring for colleagues.

Thank you chocolate and food gifts

Firetree makes single-origin chocolate bars, such as Madagascar 84%, and a 100% cocoa collection. Camellios makes a peachy chamomile loose leaf tea set and a glass teapot, and Big Nose and Beardy makes a cider and cheese tasting hamper for a bigger thank you. Raju Sauces makes a trio sauce box for a friend who loves cooking. Greeting Cards has thank you cards, Candles has more soy wax candles, Gifts Under £25 has small presents, and Vegan presents and gift ideas: 25 where it actually matters has more ideas.
