Reusable Linen and Viscose Face Mask in Navy

Cut from waste fabric — specifically a 55% organic linen and 45% viscose outer with a bamboo jersey inner pocket that holds a KN95-grade PM2.5 filter — this is the reusable mask that does not ask you to choose between function and a cleaner conscience. Komodo has been making that case since 1988.

Most reusable masks are either functional or considered. This one is both.

Komodo cut these masks from waste fabric — material that would otherwise have been discarded — so the environmental case is made before you even look at what it is made from. The outer is a 55% organic linen and 45% viscose blend: linen for structure and breathability, viscose for the drape that makes it comfortable to wear for longer than five minutes. The inner lining is 95% bamboo and 5% spandex, soft against the face and shaped to sit without gaping.

The filter system is where this mask earns its keep. A bamboo jersey pocket on the inside accepts PM2.5 disposable insert filters — the mask ships with two KN95-grade non-woven respiratory filters included. When those run out, replacement PM2.5 filters are widely available from online retailers; search

About Our Brand Komodo

Komodo has spent over three decades proving that sustainable fashion does not have to be a compromise between style and conscience. Founded in 1988, the brand set out to show that contemporary clothing design and genuine environmental responsibility are not mutually exclusive, a challenge they continue to meet with each collection.

What distinguishes Komodo in practice is their material choices. Rather than relying on conventional fabrics, they work with organic and natural eco-fibres, incorporate green PU coating, and use recycled PET derived from plastic bottles. The majority of their products are vegan, and all are produced without cruelty, commitments that go beyond labelling and into the fabric of how each garment is made.

Komodo has also taken the deliberate step of eliminating single-use plastics from their supply chain entirely. This is not a target or an aspiration; it is already done. For a fashion brand operating since the late 1980s, that level of supply chain discipline reflects a consistency of values that is rare in an industry still catching up to where Komodo started.
