Haoma's Ylang Ylang eau de parfum is a single note perfume: you smell one thing, ylang ylang, and the essential oil of that plant is what delivers it. Haoma describes the result as intensely floral and authoritative, exotic, sensual and sweet.

A note on testers Haoma does not offer samples or testers. Each size of its perfumes needs separate independent certification for organic and vegan status, laboratory testing, submission to the EU and UK cosmetics portals, redesigned labels and bespoke glass bottles, which makes samples impractical for a small handmade brand. Paper strips were tried too, but the brand says essential oils do not hold their scent well on paper.
Why the ingredient list matters Haoma points out that the terms "parfum", "perfume" and "fragrance" on a label do not have to be broken down further by law. Here, each oil is named individually. If transparency is what you are shopping for, that is the point.
