Sintra Naturals took a different route with this stick, building the formula around zinc ricinoleate — a compound derived from castor seed that binds to odour molecules directly and neutralises them rather than masking or suppressing perspiration. The result is a deodorant that lets your body function normally while keeping odour in check, even during exercise in warm or humid conditions.
The formula is baking-soda-free, which matters if you have ever experienced the redness or irritation that baking-soda deodorants can cause over time. How to use: Push the cardboard tube up with gentle force in the upward direction, let a little of the deodorant out and apply. Do not push the deodorant back into the tube — leave it, close the cap, and once the exposed amount has been used, push a little more out. Apply a thin layer to clean underarms. Avoid use if you have any cracks or infections under the arms. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
