Granulation is one of silversmithing's oldest and most labour-intensive techniques: tiny spheres of pure silver, attached one by one to a base to create a texture that catches the light in a way no machine finish can replicate. Rize's artisans in Jaipur have done exactly that — every ball, by hand.
