Trainer Socks in Organic Combed Cotton

Knitted from 78% GOTS-certified organic combed cotton using a high-gauge needle count for lasting softness, these trainer socks from hipSwan are built to stay put — a blister tab, compression arch, and terry-cushioned heel do the work that most trainer socks leave undone.

Ethically SourcedBiodegradableNatural Fibres

Most trainer socks do one thing adequately. These do several things well — and the construction is why.

The cotton is GOTS-certified organic combed cotton, which means the fibres have been combed to remove short strands before spinning. The result is a denser, smoother yarn that holds its shape wash after wash. At 78% of the blend, it is the dominant material, not a marketing footnote.

The high-gauge needle count tightens the knit, which is what gives the sock its softness and durability. Lower-gauge socks pill and thin faster. This one is built to last.

  • Blister tab at the back keeps the sock in place — no slipping down mid-run or mid-day
  • Compression arch for support and a secure fit
  • Seamless toe to eliminate rubbing
  • Terry-cushioned heel and sole for impact absorption
  • Available in black, white, and natural undyed
  • Available as a single pair or a 3-pack (saving 5%)
  • Sizes: small, medium, large — not gender-specific; inherent elasticity fits a wide range of feet
  • One tree planted for every order placed

Composition: 78% GOTS-certified organic combed cotton, 13% recycled nylon, 5% recycled polyester, 4% elastane

Care instructions: Be gentle. Either hand wash or machine wash in cold water on the gentle cycle. If using a machine, place them in a laundry bag to protect them, as you would other delicates. Use a mild detergent and never use bleach. Refrain from using fabric softener.

Turn your socks inside out. This way, the extra cushioning at the soles and heels will get a more thorough wash.

Do not use a dryer. The heat and circulation of a dryer will decrease the longevity of your socks. Best to air dry them on a drying rack.

Do not iron.

Sizing: hipSwan socks are available in three sizes (small, medium, large). Their inherent elasticity allows them to fit a wide range of feet and are not gender specific. Refer to the hipSwan size chart for UK, US, and EU shoe size equivalents.
