Grip Socks in Organic Combed Cotton

Grip Socks in Organic Combed Cotton
Woven from GOTS-certified organic combed cotton (78%) and finished with silicone sole and heel grippers, these ankle socks deliver genuine traction for Pilates, barre, yoga, and slippery floors — the high-gauge needle construction is what makes them noticeably softer and longer-lasting than standard grip socks.

Grip socks have become a studio staple, but most are made from synthetic blends that pill quickly and lose their grip after a dozen washes. hipSwan's "flow" ankle sock takes a different approach: the base fabric is 78% GOTS-certified organic combed cotton, knitted at a high gauge needle count that produces a denser, smoother loop — which is why they feel softer straight out of the packet and hold their shape wash after wash.
The silicone grippers cover both the sole and the heel, giving you traction in multiple directions. That matters for Pilates and barre, where lateral movement and heel pressure are constant, but it also makes them genuinely useful on hard floors at home or in sports like tennis and badminton where a firm, responsive grip underfoot changes how you move. A compression arch runs through the midfoot, adding support and keeping the sock from shifting during practice.
Available in black, natural undyed, and grey, in small, medium, and large. The inherent elasticity means they fit a wide range of feet and are not gender specific. If your shoe size falls at the margin between sizes, hipSwan recommends sizing down for studio activities.
Sizing guide:
- Small: fits smaller UK/EU/US shoe sizes
- Medium: fits mid-range UK/EU/US shoe sizes
- Large: fits larger UK/EU/US shoe sizes (Refer to the hipSwan size chart on the product page for exact shoe size equivalents.)
Available as a single pair or a 3-pack with a 5% saving.
Every order supports the planting of one tree.
Composition: 78% GOTS-certified organic combed cotton, 13% recycled nylon, 5% recycled polyester, 4% elastane
Care instructions: Be gentle. Either hand wash or machine wash in cold water on the gentle cycle. If using a machine, place them in a laundry bag to protect them further, just as you would other delicates. Use a mild detergent and never use bleach. Refrain from using fabric softener.
Turn your socks inside out. This way, the extra cushioning at the soles and heels will get a more thorough wash.
Do not use a dryer. The heat and circulation of a dryer will decrease the longevity of your socks. Best to air dry them on a drying rack.
Do not iron. There is no need to iron socks, and it is especially important to refrain from ironing styles with silicone grippers.
FAQ: Q: What if the socks do not fit me? A: No problem — you have 60 days to return them. Just pay the return postage and hipSwan will refund you, no questions asked. The socks must be in new, unworn condition with the outer wrappers included.
Q: Are the socks gender specific? A: No. Their inherent elasticity allows them to fit a wide range of feet and they are not gender specific.
Q: Should I size down? A: If your shoe size falls at the margin between sizes and you are using the socks for Pilates, barre, or similar activities, hipSwan recommends sizing down for a tighter, more secure fit.
