Recycled Wool and Poly Coat in Grey

Recycled Wool and Poly Coat in Grey
Woven from 50% recycled wool and 50% recycled polyester, the Olivia Coat is made in a SEDEX-audited factory — the kind of supply chain transparency that puts Komodo in a different category from brands that simply use the word sustainable.

The Olivia Coat is the kind of outerwear that earns its place in a wardrobe rather than just filling it. The fabric is a 50/50 blend of recycled wool and recycled polyester — two materials that do the work of keeping you warm while giving a second life to fibres that already existed. The 100% cotton lining adds breathability, so it wears comfortably across a range of temperatures rather than trapping heat.
The silhouette is oversized and boyfriend-cut, with dropped sleeves — relaxed without being shapeless. The corozo buttons are a considered detail: corozo is a natural nut-derived material that has been used as a plastic alternative in tailoring for over a century, and here it finishes the coat without introducing synthetic hardware.
This is a coat built for everyday wear, not occasion dressing. The grey colourway works across seasons and sits easily over layers.

About Our Brand Komodo
Komodo has spent over three decades proving that sustainable fashion does not have to be a compromise between style and conscience. Founded in 1988, the brand set out to show that contemporary clothing design and genuine environmental responsibility are not mutually exclusive, a challenge they continue to meet with each collection.
What distinguishes Komodo in practice is their material choices. Rather than relying on conventional fabrics, they work with organic and natural eco-fibres, incorporate green PU coating, and use recycled PET derived from plastic bottles. The majority of their products are vegan, and all are produced without cruelty, commitments that go beyond labelling and into the fabric of how each garment is made.
Komodo has also taken the deliberate step of eliminating single-use plastics from their supply chain entirely. This is not a target or an aspiration; it is already done. For a fashion brand operating since the late 1980s, that level of supply chain discipline reflects a consistency of values that is rare in an industry still catching up to where Komodo started.
