The weave is made from REPREVE®, a material composed of recycled plastic bottles recovered from the ocean. Swole Panda says it is the first company to make belts from it, and each belt contains the equivalent of 7 bottles that were previously discarded. Here is what works: you get a stretch that moves with you, and the plastic stays out of the sea.
