Two of the more fiddly jobs in the kitchen — stripping herb leaves from their stems and reducing garlic to a fine paste — handled by a single handmade bowl. The herb stripper holes let you pull stems cleanly through, catching the leaves directly in the bowl below. The hand-carved grater in the base is designed specifically to break garlic down into a purée rather than rough chunks, which makes a real difference in dishes where texture matters.
Every piece is made by hand in Great Britain using British clay, which means no two are identical. The glaze may appear thinner or slightly uneven over the grater section — this is intentional, not a flaw. A thinner glaze allows for finer grating, and the glaze used is tested and approved as food safe.
