Most kitchens accumulate a drawer full of single-use tools. This bowl from Habulous does the work of several.
The perforated rim is sized to strip herb leaves cleanly from their stems in one pass. The serrated base grates and grinds — garlic comes out as a smooth purée rather than rough chunks, which makes a real difference in sauces and dressings. It handles spices and ginger too.
Because Habulous makes every piece by hand in Great Britain using British clay, there is natural variation in the glaze and form. The glaze may appear thinner or slightly broken around the grater surface — this is intentional, not a flaw. It allows for finer grating, and the glaze is tested and approved as food safe.
