About Our Brand Artsy Mats
Most bath mats are a slow-motion hygiene problem. Fabric stays damp for hours, and damp fabric is where mould, bacteria, and that familiar sour smell take hold. The mats are made from diatomite, a sedimentary rock formed from the fossilised remains of microscopic algae. There are no chemical treatments involved — the anti-bacterial and anti-mould properties are intrinsic to the material, not added in.
