Bobby the Budgie is one of Habulous's plant hugger characters: small, handmade decorations designed to perch on a houseplant stem, sit in a pot, or nestle in a terrarium. Made in Devon using British clay and recycled glass, each one is genuinely unique — the nature of the recycled glass means colours and mottling vary slightly from piece to piece, which is part of the point.
The fine wire frame wraps gently around a sturdy plant stem or can be positioned on any surface you want your budgie to inhabit. A few things to keep in mind when placing Bobby:
- Wrap the wire gently around the stem — sharp bends can cause the wire to break
- Works best on a sturdy stem rather than a delicate one
- Suitable for houseplants, terrariums, plant pots, or any object you want to decorate
Bobby arrives ready to give. The gift card and envelope are made from 100% recycled paper, and the whole thing is packaged in a compostable cellophane bag. The gift card is left blank inside so you can write your own message.
