Some decorations are bought once and kept for decades. This set earns that treatment.
Made by BaSE and Tara, a Fair Trade cooperative working across Bangladesh and India, each piece — a ring, a star, and a stocking — is handmade from jute, a locally grown and sustainably sourced fibre, combined with recycled cotton fabric. Because they are handmade, no two sets are identical, and that is the point.
At approximately 7cm × 7cm per piece, they are the right scale for a tree, a wreath, or a windowsill arrangement. They also work well as a stocking filler or a small gift for someone who appreciates the fact that the thing they are unwrapping was made by a real person, in a real workshop, for a fair wage.
