This is a rose and vanilla candle that earns the description — not a generic floral with a vanilla finish, but a properly structured scent built around Damascan Rose Absolute at the heart, with dewy rose petals and lemon zest opening things up and creamy vanilla bean and sandalwood grounding it. Sophisticated enough to set a mood, cosy enough to light on a Tuesday evening for no particular reason.
Flawless makes every candle by hand in their Wrexham studio, in small batches. That matters here because soy wax is sensitive to temperature and pour conditions — small-batch production means each candle is made with attention rather than on a line. The 100% soy wax burns cleanly and slowly, the natural cotton wick is lead-free, and the container is recycled glass and aluminium. Plastic-free throughout.

- Always place the candle jar on a stable, flat, and fire-resistant surface.
- Keep the burning candle out of reach of children and pets.
- Maintain a safe distance from flammable materials such as curtains, furniture, and drafts.
Wick preparation:
- Before each use, ensure the wick is trimmed to 5mm. This promotes a clean, even flame, prevents excessive smoke, and avoids mushrooming of the wick.
- Use a long match or specialised lighter for ignition to prevent sooting on the jar's inner rim and ensure safe lighting.
Establishing the first burn:
- The initial burn is crucial due to soy wax having a memory.
- Burn the 60ml candle for a minimum of two hours (but no more than three hours).
- This extended first burn allows the wax pool to fully melt and extend to cover the complete diameter of the jar. Failure to establish a full melt pool causes tunnelling, which significantly reduces the candle's lifespan and overall performance.
- A larger pool of wax will also help release a stronger scent from each candle.
