The idea here is simple and genuinely useful: instead of buying a new candle jar every time, you invest once in a piece of handmade pottery and refill it. Bouclé has collaborated with Brighton ceramicist Silvia K to create a starter pack that pairs her hand-thrown glazed vessels with Bouclé's essential oil candles, made in Hackney from a natural coconut and rapeseed wax blend.
The ceramic vessel is a permanent fixture. It arrives in your choice of five splash glazes — Midnight (black), Stone (olive grey), Cobalt (blue yellow), Pig (pink), or Juniper (green) — each one individual to the hand-making process. The 200g candle insert sits inside it, burns for up to 50 hours, and when it is done, a refill takes its place.

Safety information: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn for at least 2 hours for each burn and never any longer than 4 hours. Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Always leave at least 10cm between candles. Do not burn on or near anything that can catch fire. Trim wicks to about 6mm before lighting. Always extinguish the candle and do not relight when the wax level is less than 1cm.
