There is something quietly satisfying about a bud vase that is actually made well. This one comes from Habulous's studio on Dartmoor, where each piece is handcrafted individually using British stoneware clay — the flecked texture you can see in the clay body is part of what makes it, and no two pieces will be identical.
At 6.5cm tall and 7cm across, it holds a small bunch of flowers without overwhelming them. It also works as a desk pen pot, which is not a glamorous use case but a genuinely useful one.
The light yellow pastel glaze sits softly against the speckled clay. Because the glaze is applied by hand, the exact tone and finish will vary slightly from the images — that is not a disclaimer, it is the point.
