Konjac Bamboo Body Exfoliating Sponge

Konjac Bamboo Body Exfoliating Sponge
Made from the konjac plant — a naturally alkaline, compostable alternative to plastic bath sponges — this body sponge gently exfoliates without disrupting your skin's pH, and arrives in plastic-free, compostable packaging. It is the kind of straightforward swap that actually works, which is why it is here.

Most bath sponges are made of plastic. As they break down with use, they shed microplastics into the water; when they are eventually thrown away, they add to the pile. This sponge does neither.
Made entirely from the konjac plant, it is plastic-free and compostable from first use to end of life. Konjac is a renewable crop, naturally alkaline, and rich in vitamins and minerals from the soil it grows in — properties that translate directly into how it performs on skin.
The natural fibres work by gently loosening dead skin cells, clearing blackheads, and drawing out excess oil and dirt without the abrasiveness of synthetic exfoliants. Because konjac maintains the skin's natural pH rather than stripping it, it is suitable for sensitive skin, dry skin, and sunburned skin — and gentle enough for babies.
It is also highly absorbent, which makes it effective for applying or removing makeup as part of a daily cleansing routine, not just for exfoliation.
