Votch built the Silver & Tan Petite around a 33mm brushed silver case, which sits proportionally on wrists between 150mm and 200mm. The white dial uses brushed silver indexes and hands — no colour, no fuss, nothing that will date it. The tan strap gives it warmth without veering into statement territory.
The strap is where Votch does something most vegan watch brands do not. Rather than swapping conventional leather for standard PVC faux leather and calling it done, Votch uses a PU material that is PVC-free and phthalate-free, with recycled and renewable content worked into the construction. The result is a strap that sits better on the environmental ledger than most alternatives in this category — not just animal-free, but materially considered.
The movement is a Japanese GL20 quartz — reliable, accurate, and the kind of mechanism that does not need attention. Water resistance is rated to 3ATM, which covers splashes and rain without issue.
