Conventional hair elastics are a small but persistent plastic problem — most contain synthetic rubber and metal tags, and virtually none of them biodegrade within a human lifetime. Wild & Stone's black hair ties are built differently from the material up.
The elastic is natural plant-based rubber, strong enough to hold through a workout and stretchy enough not to leave dents or creases in your hair. The outer wrap is 100% organic cotton — soft against the hair, which matters if you wear your hair up for long stretches and know the headache that a tight, rough bobble can cause. There is no metal tag, which means less snagging, less breakage, and fewer split ends over time.
