The Yellow Woven Belt from Swole Panda is an elasticated, hole-free belt that adjusts to fit precisely without the usual fuss of notched leather. The stretch construction means it moves with you rather than against you, and the low-profile brushed zinc-alloy buckle keeps the whole thing looking clean rather than conspicuous.
The material is the thing worth knowing about here. Swole Panda say they were the first company to make a woven belt from REPREVE® — a certified recycled fibre made from plastic bottles recovered from the ocean. Each belt contains the equivalent of seven previously discarded bottles. The trimmings are recycled faux leather, and the belt arrives in a 100% organic cotton pouch.
Swole Panda also donates 5% of profits from each belt sold to Ocean Generation, an NGO working to stop plastic reaching the oceans within a generation.
