There is a version of the woven belt that has been around for decades — same basic construction, same fiddly holes, same synthetic yarn from nowhere in particular. Swole Panda took that template and rebuilt it from the ocean up.
The fabric here is REPREVE®, a performance yarn made from plastic bottles recovered from the ocean. Swole Panda is the first brand to use it for woven belts of this kind, and each one contains the equivalent of seven previously discarded bottles. That is not a rounding figure — it is a specific material commitment baked into the construction.
The weave is elasticated, which means the belt adjusts continuously to your waist without needing holes. It sits flat, moves with you, and does not dig in. The buckle is a low-profile brushed zinc-alloy finish — durable and understated. The trimmings are recycled faux leather. The whole thing arrives in a 100% organic cotton pouch.
It is unisex, and it works across a range of outfits — casual, smart-casual, or anything in between. The fine weave pattern in orange is a considered detail: visible enough to add interest, restrained enough not to compete.
Swole Panda donates 5% of profits from each belt sold to Ocean Generation, an NGO working to stop plastic reaching the oceans within a generation.

Care instructions: Clean with a sponge and a little soap, avoiding wetting the recycled faux leather part of the belt. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron, or dry clean.
