The AMAR is a minimalist roll-top backpack that does exactly what a daily carry should: holds everything you need, expands when you need more room, and does not fall apart after a year of commuting.
The canvas is 560 GSM organic cotton — heavy enough to be genuinely water resistant without any synthetic coating, and light enough that the bag itself does not add unnecessary weight. The roll-top system extends the main compartment from 15 litres to 20 litres, sealed with a YKK zipper at the top. The laptop compartment at the padded back fits up to a 15-inch machine (approximately 38 cm × 28 cm), and the EVA rubber back cushioning means you actually feel the difference on a longer commute. A patch outer pocket, internal key fob, and mobile phone pocket cover the everyday organisational basics without overcomplicating the silhouette.
Every material choice here is deliberate. The canvas and straps are 100% organic cotton. The buckles are nickel- and chromium-free. There are no materials of animal origin anywhere in the construction — the AMAR is fully vegan. Made in India.
