Dental floss is one of those bathroom staples that generates a surprising amount of single-use plastic waste. This one is different in a few specific ways: the floss itself is made from corn starch, waxed with candelilla, and flavoured with peppermint essential oil. It is 100% compostable. The dispenser is glass and metal — designed to be kept and refilled. The outer packaging is kraft paper, biodegradable and compostable.
Once you have the dispenser, subsequent purchases are the refill pack: 2 × 30 metres, no extra container needed.

How to use: Gently pull out about 30 centimetres of floss and roll the floss around your thumb to control the strength and position. Floss slowly between each tooth, reaching close to the gum line.
