Using it in toothpaste is a different approach to remineralisation than fluoride — rather than strengthening enamel indirectly, hydroxyapatite works by directly replenishing the mineral structure. The booheads toothpaste is fluoride-free and contains hydroxyapatite as its active ingredient.
The brush heads are made using wheat straw, a plant-based material, with gentle medium bristles. They are designed to be compatible with Sonicare* toothbrush handles, so there is no need to change your existing routine — just swap the head.
