The formula is water-activated, which is what gives it that full-pigment payoff without the cracking or fading you get from standard felt-tip liners. A little water goes a long way here: too much and you lose the intensity, too little and the brush drags. Once you find the balance, the colour lands exactly where you put it.

How to use: Open lid, add a small amount of water to lid, dip brush into water (not too much) and then swirl the brush into the pigment and watch the colour pay off.
