Palo Santo has been used in South American traditions for centuries, and the reason it endures is straightforward: the scent is genuinely distinctive. Each stick comes from naturally fallen branches, and the botanical name, Bursera Graveolens, is the species that grows along the South American coast and produces this particular scent profile.

How to use: Light one end of the stick with a match or hold over a lit candle. Allow to burn for 30–60 seconds, then gently blow out the flame. The stick will continue to smoulder, releasing its aromatic smoke. Never leave unattended. Place holder on a heat-resistant surface to capture falling ash. Keep away from flammable materials and delicate surfaces. Wait until completely cool before moving the ash.
