Weaning is messy enough without the plate ending up on the floor. Wild & Stone's bamboo suction plate gives you a practical, food-safe base that locks onto smooth surfaces — highchair trays, tables, any flat surface — and stays there until you choose to remove it. The suction ring detaches as your child grows out of the throwing phase, so the plate keeps working long after the chaos has calmed down.
The plate itself is divided into sections, which makes it genuinely useful for the realities of feeding a small person: keep yoghurt away from vegetables, dips separate from everything else, and give picky eaters the visual boundaries that make mealtimes less fraught. The raised, rounded sides make scooping easier for small hands still developing their grip.
Bamboo has a natural antimicrobial property that limits bacterial growth and resists absorbing odours — useful when you are washing up after every meal. The material is also stain-resistant and water-resistant, which means it holds up to daily use without looking tired.
The plate is made from FSC® 100% certified Moso bamboo (FSC® C007915), meaning the bamboo is sourced against the Forest Stewardship Council's principles — covering ecosystem maintenance, land rights, and forest stewardship. The suction base is BPA-free silicone. There are no nasties near the food.
Wild & Stone state this plate is food-safe certified and free from melamine, toxic paints, and unnecessary chemicals. The packaging is plastic-free, made from recycled kraft board with vegetable-based inks, and fully recyclable through standard household recycling.
At 22 x 19 x 4 cm, it is a practical size for a highchair tray. Available in yellow and blue.

Care instructions: Wash plate in warm soapy water. Bamboo is not dishwasher safe. Bamboo is not microwave safe. Do not boil or steam sterilise. Push the suction base down onto a smooth, flat surface, such as a high chair tray, to stick the plate down.
