There is a version of the everyday trainer that does not ask you to choose between looking good and buying well. The R-Kind in Mercury Black is that trainer. Ration.L designed it in Britain with a minimalist silhouette that works across commutes, weekends, and everything in between — and built it from materials that hold up to scrutiny as well as they hold up to daily wear.
The upper is certified non-toxic eco PU, chosen specifically because it performs like conventional synthetic leather without the harmful processing chemicals. The construction uses water-based glue rather than solvent-based adhesives, recycled aluminium hardware, and organic cotton detailing. The packaging is 100% recycled and responsibly sourced. Every component has been considered, not just the headline material.
This is a unisex silhouette, sized to mirror the natural shape of the foot. If you are between sizes, Ration.L recommends sizing up.
