There is a straightforward idea behind this trainer: make something well, use it fully, waste as little as possible. Ration.L's repurposed programme takes pairs that have been used for display or carry a minor cosmetic mark, refurbishes them, and offers them at a more accessible price. The construction is identical to a first-run pair — the only difference is the history.
The upper is certified non-toxic Eco PU, chosen because it performs like leather without the animal or chemical cost. It is grained for texture and wipes clean with a damp cloth, which is genuinely how most trainers should be maintained rather than machine-washed. The remaining components use certified recycled and organic materials, and the packaging is made from recycled materials throughout.
