The Libra tee is part of Heiko Clothing's Zodiac collection, every design in which was created by London-based artist Eliza Mackay — the sole designer behind the series and a collaborator with Heiko from the very beginning. Libra, represented by the scales, is the only sign of the zodiac not depicted by an animal or a person. In Greek mythology, the scales are associated with Themis, the goddess of justice, and her daughter Astraea, who became the constellation of Virgo. It is a symbol with genuine weight behind it, and the artwork reflects that.
The fabric is 100% GOTS certified organic cotton — soft, breathable, and produced without the synthetic pesticides and excess water consumption that make conventional cotton one of the more resource-intensive crops in the world. Organic cotton uses up to 90% less water than its conventional equivalent, and the GOTS certification covers the fibre from field through to finished garment.
