The Capricorn design draws on a Greek myth in which the god Pan transforms into a half-goat, half-fish creature when he dives into the Nile to escape the giant Typhon. It is one of the more vivid origin stories in the zodiac, and Eliza Mackay — a London-based artist who has worked with Heiko from the beginning and is the sole designer behind their Zodiac collection — has done it justice. The tee itself is built around 100% GOTS certified organic cotton: soft, breathable, and produced without the synthetic pesticides and fertilisers that conventional cotton farming relies on. Heiko states that organic cotton uses up to 90% less water than regular cotton — a meaningful difference at scale.
Every garment is printed to order using water-based inks, which keeps waste low and avoids the solvent-heavy processes common in mass production.
