The Aries design is part of Heiko Clothing's Zodiac collection, illustrated entirely by London-based artist Eliza Mackay. The ram motif draws on Greek mythology — specifically the Chrysomallus, the flying ram of the Boeotian king Athamas, whose fleece became the Golden Fleece of legend. Eliza has worked with Heiko from the beginning and is the sole designer behind the collection; her Instagram (@elizamackay) is worth a look if you want to see more of her work.
The tee is made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton — soft, breathable, and produced without the synthetic pesticides and fertilisers that conventional cotton farming relies on. Organic cotton cultivation uses up to 90% less water than standard methods, which is a meaningful difference at scale. Heiko prints every tee to order using water-based inks, which keeps waste low and avoids the solvent-based alternatives common in mass production.
