Every year, 260 million toothbrushes are thrown away in the UK. Each plastic one will still be here in roughly 25 generations. Wild & Stone's children's bamboo toothbrush is the straightforward swap: same soft bristles, same twice-daily routine, none of the plastic.
The handle is made from a single piece of FSC® 100% certified Moso bamboo — a material that is naturally antibacterial, water-resistant, and capable of regrowing to full size within a year of harvest. The FSC® certification (licence code FSC® C007915) means the bamboo is sourced against independently verified standards covering ecosystem maintenance, land rights, and forest stewardship — not just a claim on the packaging.
The yellow colour coding is practical: children sharing a bathroom are less likely to mix up their brushes. The dimensions are designed for smaller mouths — 12cm handle, 2.2cm head, 14.5cm total — and the soft bristles are BPA-free. The paint used on the handle is toxin-free. The whole handle is 100% biodegradable once the bristles are removed.
